The booklets have been so useful and as I’ve just had a few new groups of students start work experience placements, I want to start getting them to help select browse and thought the poster would be a brilliant learning tool for them (and me too).

My assistant curator and I have received and have been reviewing your Browse Poster manual. First, we absolutely LOVE it! Believe it or not, there a quite a few more plants that are applicable to us than I think either of us thought there would be. We’d guess at least 40% of the plants are applicable to what we’ve seen in collections that we’ve worked with around the United States (Chicago, New York, Texas, Florida etc.). Our only criticism is that we wish you could have included more families or orders of birds! It seems like the majority of plants rate the same across the families and orders of birds you have listed so I’m wondering how much of the information can be extrapolated to other species. Thanks for creating these. Hopefully the community can continue to provide more information to the cause!
